Applofy creates digital products for businesses at different stages of growth. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can turn complex requirements into simple journeys, confident interfaces, and design decisions that developers can build reliably.
About the role
You will take part in the full design process: understanding the problem, mapping user flows, exploring directions, creating high-fidelity interfaces, and supporting implementation. The work calls for strong visual judgment as well as curiosity about users, systems, and business goals.
You will collaborate directly with developers and stakeholders, maintain consistency across responsive states, and help strengthen Applofy’s reusable product-design practices.
Responsibilities
- Translate product goals and user needs into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
- Create responsive web and mobile designs with clear hierarchy and accessible interaction patterns.
- Plan and conduct lightweight research, discovery sessions, and usability checks when needed.
- Build and maintain reusable components, variants, and design-system documentation in Figma.
- Present design reasoning clearly and incorporate feedback without losing product intent.
- Partner with engineers through implementation and review the final experience for quality.
Qualifications
- A strong portfolio showing end-to-end product-design work for web or mobile products.
- Confident use of Figma, including auto layout, components, variants, and prototyping.
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, interaction design, accessibility, and responsive behavior.
- Ability to explain decisions using user needs and product outcomes, not aesthetics alone.
- Comfort working across multiple projects while keeping files and feedback organized.
- Clear written and verbal communication with clients, designers, and engineers.
Good to have
- Experience with design systems, motion, illustration, or brand-to-product translation.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS or experience reviewing implemented interfaces.
- Experience designing SaaS, enterprise, marketplace, or service-business products.
